Carrog Station Camp Site is on Pen-y-Bont Farm in the Dee Valley, next to the Llangollen Railway's Carrog station and the river. It takes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, and has around 40 electric hook-ups on a mix of hardstanding and grass. Llangollen is about seven miles east and Bala about fourteen west.

There are a few insulated camping pods for two, and the site also runs fields for rallies and Duke of Edinburgh groups. It is aimed at families and couples, with no more than two units (two households) in one party unless arranged in advance. Facilities are unisex toilet and shower blocks with hot water, washing-up areas, recycling and a drive-over grey waste grid with a chemical disposal point. Dogs are welcome on leads, and wood fires are not allowed; charcoal barbecues and heat logs are fine until 11pm.
