Kings Acre is a small family-run camping and glamping field on Kingswood Lane, about ten minutes from Chester city centre and Chester Zoo. Tents go either in the main camping meadow or next to a small wildlife lake.
For something ready-made there are 5 metre bell tents, furnished with beds and lighting, each with its own lawn, outdoor seating and fire pit; empty bell tents are also listed. Everyone shares the toilets, hot showers and camp kitchen, and there is a pizza oven on site. The site runs in the summer months only, so check dates before you plan. Prices are not published on the website, so ask the owners or use the booking page.
