Lloyds Meadow is a working fishery near Mouldsworth, where up to ten five-metre bell tents sit in private spots near the lakes. Beds are made up with feather duvets, floors are carpeted with rugs, and there are fairy lights and solar lamps. Toilets and a hot shower are a short walk away, with more toilets at the lake.
It is adults only, two to a tent, with no dogs. You can bring your own cooking kit or hire a cooking pack, add a breakfast or BBQ hamper, and rent a fire pit with wood. Delamere Forest is a mile away, Chester is about ten minutes by train from Mouldsworth station, and there is a shop and pub within walking distance.
