Wirral Country Park is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site inside the country park at Thurstaston, on the Dee Estuary. It has 89 touring pitches, 72 on hardstanding, arranged in several areas divided by trees and shrubs; some look over the estuary. Non-members can book. There are no tent pitches.
The beach is five minutes on foot and the 12-mile Wirral Way walking and cycling route runs through the park. Bikes can be hired in the country park. Seven sailing clubs in the area offer visitor membership. Liverpool and North Wales are within day-trip range.
The site has a playground and Wi-Fi, and closes from early November to mid March.
