Ty Mawr is a big Parkdean holiday park at Towyn near Abergele, with Llandudno about 25 minutes away and coastal walks on the doorstep. Accommodation is caravans and lodges, and dogs are welcome in all of it. There is also a touring and camping area for tents, trailer tents, tourers, motorhomes and campervans, with a shower and toilet block, launderette, disabled facilities, baby changing, waste and water disposal and awning space on non-Standard pitches.
Activities include high ropes, bungee trampolines, battle blasters and an arts and crafts lodge. There is an indoor pool with a waterslide (13 March to 2 November 2026) and an outdoor pool (29 March to 31 August 2026). Food runs from fish and chips and pizza to sit-down meals at the Boathouse, with Y Bar Bach for a drink. Dogs have their own Woof Park and an agility area, and a launderette and convenience store are on site.
