Cae Wennol is a small family-run glamping field on a 16-acre holding in the Conwy Valley, on the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) and a few miles from Conwy. Three Mongolian yurts stand in a two-acre field above ponds that attract dragonflies, mallards and herons.

Seren is a 19ft yurt for two adults and two small children. Heddwch and Celynnin are 21ft and sleep six, with a double bed and two double futons. Each has a log burner (one basket of logs is included), tea lights and lanterns, and its own compost toilet. Showers and a covered communal kitchen with a gas hob, wood stove, barbecue and well water are shared, and there is a pizza oven in the garden. Bring or request bedding and towels. Tents and campervans are not accepted.
