Morvich is a large Caravan and Motorhome Club site at the head of Loch Duich in Kintail, set on flat ground between wooded hills. Most of the surrounding land belongs to the National Trust for Scotland, which runs guided walks from next door.
There are 98 pitches in all: 77 hardstanding for tourers and 21 for tents. Outfits up to 9.2m fit. Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh are a short drive and Eilean Donan Castle is close. A bus stop within a mile has services to Skye, Glasgow, Fort William and Inverness. Non-members can book, at higher prices than members.
