Ardelve sits on the edge of Loch Alsh, across the bay from Eilean Donan Castle, and has been run by the MacRae family since the 1940s. The campsite has hardstanding pitches with electric and water for motorhomes and caravans, smaller non-electric pitches for little campervans, and grass for tents, some of it sloping. There is direct access to the shore, and Dornie is a ten-minute walk.

Facilities are toilets, metered showers, a dishwashing room, chemical and grey-water disposal and device charging sockets in the toilets. Motorhomes, campervans and caravans can be reserved by phone up to four weeks ahead; tent pitches are first come, first served. Away from the campsite there is a simple two-bed cabin and three holiday-home caravans, none of which take pets.
