Shieldaig Camping and Cabins opened in 2019 on a raised site in Shieldaig village, looking over the loch to Shieldaig Island. The pub, seafood restaurant, a coffee shop and the village shop are all within about five minutes' walk. It is a handy base for Torridon, the Applecross peninsula and the Bealach na Ba, and it sits on the North Coast 500.

There are 20 powered hardstandings for motorhomes and caravans, some tent pitches and a heated block with showers, toilets, a washing-up area and laundry. Three cabins stand on their own decking facing the Atlantic: one dog-friendly cabin with a kitchenette and shared bathroom block, and two couples' cabins with en-suites, full kitchens and underfloor heating. The only firm rule is silence from 10pm.
