- Adults only
Faichemard is a family-run farm campsite about a mile from Invergarry, looking across the Glengarry hills. The Grant family has run it since 1935. There are 35 pitches spread over about ten acres, so each one has its own character and most have some space around them. The site is strictly for adults: everyone on a booking must be 18 or over, and a booking can have no more than four people.
Pitches are either grass for tents without electric, or hardstanding with a 10 amp hook-up for motorhomes and caravans. Showers and toilets are free and there is free wifi across the site. Campfires are not allowed, but barbecues are fine if they stand on a stand. Pets are welcome on a short lead and up to two dogs cost nothing extra. You have to book at least a day ahead, and there is no shop on site, so stock up in Invergarry or Fort Augustus.
- Adults only, so no children or infants
- Each pitch has its own picnic table and some privacy
- Views over the Glengarry mountains
- Free showers and wifi, no coins needed
- Up to two dogs at no extra charge
