  • Dogs welcome
  • Campfires

Llyn Gwynant sits on the shore of the lake in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, with the Watkin Path to Yr Wyddfa a walk away to the south and the Miners' and Pyg tracks to the north. Most people camp on open grass fields, choosing their own spot; cars are parked behind big stones away from the tents.

Reserved bays are available for those who want electric hook-up, a lakeside tent spot, a small van or roof tent, or a medium van up to 7m. Caravans and trailer tents are not accepted, and large motorhomes only on special request.

On site there is a shop, a pizza and breakfast kitchen with a small bar, a brewery tap room open at weekends, laundry, boat hire for kayaks, canoes and paddleboards, and free hot showers. It is a quiet site: no sound systems, no generators, silence after midnight.
