Little Silver House is the home of Peter and Lisa Earnshaw near High Bickington, with a small orchard behind it that now holds four shepherd's huts: Fox, Leaf, Owl and Pheasant. Each sleeps two adults, has a king bed, underfloor heating, a wood burner and its own hot tub, with views over the Taw Valley. You park up and borrow a golf buggy to get around the grounds.
There is also Little Silver Nugget, an annexe to the main house with its own woodland hot tub. Bookings are linked through holiday-letting agencies, but the owners say booking direct gets a discount, so ring or email first.
