West Middlewick is a working farm on the B3137 between Tiverton and South Molton, about a mile from Nomansland and a mile from Witheridge. The main camping field is four acres at the end of a stone track with views towards Exmoor, with some hardstandings laid so it copes with winter weather. Below it is an overflow field known as Mary's field, a bit more rustic, with a few hook-ups and mostly grass. Tents, caravans and motorhomes all use the same simple price list.

The site has a toilet and shower block with an accessible room, laundry, and a covered outdoor washing-up area, plus a farm shop selling their own milk, meat and eggs. You can walk across the farmland and down to a stream and old mill, and fishing is on offer for a fee. Two insulated log pods in Mary's field suit couples who would rather not bring a tent, and the owners also let five self-catering log cabins on a separate booking site, three of them dog-friendly.
