Leekworth sits on the bank of the River Tees on the edge of Middleton-in-Teesdale. The Teesdale Way runs beside the park and the village centre is about ten minutes away on foot.
Caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents all pitch here, with electric and non-electric options and hardstanding pitches. Six pitches are set aside as an adults-only section, and the rest of the park takes families.
There is a heated shower block, a small shop, free Wi-Fi and a mile of free river fishing (rod licence needed). Dogs are welcome and there is an enclosed exercise field. There are also seasonal pitches, winter storage and a self-catering shepherd's cottage for two.
