Hetherick has been running since 1991 and sits down a drive through farmland, with woodland and small streams along one edge. Touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and tents all pay a flat nightly rate that includes water and an electric hook-up, and dogs are free. Static caravans and seasonal tourers share the site, and there are sales caravans on the park too.
The amenity block has toilets, hot water, showers (bring a coin), a disabled facility and a laundry with washers and a tumble dryer. There is a children's play area, a dog exercise field and Calor gas on site. The three-bedroom lodge is let by the night with a three-night minimum. Barnard Castle, High Force and Low Force are a short drive away.
