A level, tree-lined field at Lartington, just over a mile from Barnard Castle town. It has a small shop, play area, laundry, dishwashing, ice pack freezing and a motorhome service point. The site opens from late February to late October.

Pitches are grass or hardstanding, with or without electric, plus jumbo grass for outfits over 5m x 9m. A working farm next door can occasionally bring a smell. High Force waterfall, the Pennine Way, the Bowes Museum and Egglestone Abbey are all nearby.
