This is a family-run hostel with a campsite built in its grounds in 2018, looking over the Kyle of Tongue to Ben Loyal and Ben Hope. It is a handy stop on the North Coast 500. The pitches are a mix of hardstanding and grass, with 27 electric hook-ups and plenty of non-electric spots, so tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans all fit.

The shower block has male, female and accessible toilets with baby changing, a chemical disposal point, a grey-water point, several water refill taps, a covered washing-up area and a coin-operated laundry. The hostel building next door has a licensed shop open to everyone and a cafe-bar; takeaway meals and breakfast rolls can be had depending on availability.

Non-campers can use the service point for a fee. Dogs are fine on the campsite but not in the hostel or the self-catering units.
