Bayview Caravan and Campsite

Bayview sits at the bottom of the hill by the beach at Talmine Bay, in the Melness township on the Kyle of Tongue. It is a small, traditional site with grass pitches for tents and small campervans, and separate hardstanding for motorhomes, several with sea views.

The toilet block has free showers, and there is chemical waste disposal, fresh water taps, bins and a kitchenette with kettle, toaster and microwave. There is no electric hook-up. Melness has a shop and post office a short walk away, and Tongue, a few miles on, has two hotels with bars and restaurants and a self-service fuel pump. It is a handy stop on the North Coast 500, and a base for hill walking, fishing and the sandy beaches of the north coast.
