The Shore Caravan Site is a working croft right next to Achmelvich Bay, at the very end of a single-track road west of Lochinver. The layout is relaxed: pitches are not marked and there is no hardstanding, so you are shown which field to use and pick your own spot. Around 40 pitches are non-electric and about 20 have 6-amp hook-ups. Three static caravans overlook the beach and are booked by contacting the site.

There is a toilet and shower block with an accessible wet room, two washing-up areas, a laundrette, a shop and a fish and chip takeaway. Wifi is sold by the day or week and mobile signal is patchy. Dogs are not accepted at all, and a booking is cancelled without refund if one turns up. Raised fire pits and barbecues are fine, bonfires are not.
