Kent Coast, which used to be Allhallows Leisure Park, sits on the Thames estuary side of the Hoo Peninsula, roughly an hour's drive from London. You stay in a Haven static caravan, graded from Saver up to Diamond, and the pricier grades add decking, a dishwasher or lakeside and sea views.
The park has a new pool complex with a waterslide, a one-acre fishing lake with 21 swims (one suited to wheelchair users), a climbing wall, aerial course, crazy golf and a Wetherspoon pub. Dogs are welcome, with an estuary beach they can use, a terrace to sit on and a Bark Yard obstacle course.
