Kits Coty is a small glamping site between Maidstone and Chatham, run by the owners since 2014. There are five units, each with its own theme: Gretel, a woodland cabin; Charlie, a Roald Dahl cabin with an outdoor bath; Pamela, a vintage shepherd's hut; and two bell tents, Festival and Marrakesh. Every unit has electricity, proper beds, a firepit, barbecue, picnic table and a cool box.
Toilets and showers are shared, in a heated shower cabin with a washing-up area and a freezer for ice packs. There is a communal Snug with games, a play area for under-12s, a petanque court and fields with donkeys and other animals nearby. Dogs are allowed in Gretel and Pamela for a flat charge per stay. Music is banned, visitors are not allowed and groups are capped at six unless you hire the whole site.
