Steeple Bay is on the River Blackwater opposite Osea Island, with beach access used for sailing, paddleboarding and fishing. The boat launch is open to guests and boat and jet ski storage is available for a fee.

There is a stocked fishing lake with carp, a heated outdoor pool with a toddler section (open 10 April to 30 September), a play park and a children's club with craft workshops. The clubhouse and restaurant were refurbished for 2026 and have a dog-friendly area, plus there is a shop, entertainment venue and launderette.
