The Pretty Thing sits on Heath Road in St Osyth, in its eleventh season after years as a Caravan and Motorhome Club site. Tourers use the large Greens with 18 electric hook-ups and a water and chemical disposal point, plus two big hardstanding pitches for larger motorhomes. Tents go in the non-electric Buttercup Meadow, where pitches are allocated with a numbered peg.
Philomena's Garden holds the glamping: standard bell tents, large family tents and lodges, with pet-friendly bell tents set up for a medium dog. Dogs are welcome elsewhere on a lead, but not in the lodges, and XL Bullies are not accepted. There is a play area and an on-site tea and snack stop, but shops and pubs are about 2.5 miles away.
