Two 5m bell tents sit in their own private field on a working farm near Little Clacton, so you share the space with nobody else. Each has a divan double bed made up with linen, a hamper of crockery and cutlery, and an undercover kitchen area with a gas hob.
The site is off-grid: no electricity, no wifi (but good 4G), and a portable flushing toilet and shower cabin. Fire pits can be hired and logs bought, though the owners have suspended fire pits and barbecues during dry spells. The seaside at Clacton, Frinton and Holland-on-Sea is a short drive, and the owners also hire out a beach hut in Holland-on-Sea and let a farm cottage that sleeps five.
No dogs, and no groups of two or more unrelated adults.
