Malting Farm is a small glamping and cabin site on a 300-acre family arable and livestock farm at Little Bentley, between a wildflower meadow and a stream. It began as a safari tent site in 2012 and now has three purpose-built cabins and a glade of bell tents.

All three cabins have two bedrooms and a hot tub; one has a woodburner and one a bath in the main bedroom. The bell-tent glade is booked as a block of two to four family tents with shared bathrooms and a fire pit, which suits groups of up to sixteen.

A treehouse with its own hot tub is planned but not yet built. Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the site. Colchester and the Essex coast at Frinton and Brightlingsea are within easy reach.
