West Mersea Holiday Park sits on the beach at West Mersea, a short walk from the town centre and looking over the Blackwater Estuary, much of which is protected for its birds. It is small and quiet by holiday park standards, with a bar and restaurant that has a dog-friendly area and outdoor seating facing the beach.

As well as static caravans to hire, Park Holidays lists it among its touring parks, with electric hardstanding pitches (about 7m by 6m) for touring caravans and motorhomes, not tents. On site there is an arcade, children's play area, launderette, shop, shower and toilet block and washing-up area. The park is cashless.
