Bude Holiday Resort sits on Maer Lane on the edge of Bude, with its own gate onto the South West Coast Path. It is a holiday-home park rather than a camping field: you stay in a rented caravan or one of two lodge styles, and the website lists no touring or tent pitches.

On site there is a refurbished bar and eatery, an adventure playground and a heated outdoor pool with a splash zone that you have to reserve a slot for, bookable through guest services up to 21 days ahead. A surf school at Widemouth Bay gives resort guests 10% off, and body boards can be hired from guest services for GBP 2 a day.
