Sandymouth is a Darwin Escapes park on a hill above Sandymouth Bay, about 15 minutes by car from Bude. Stays range from one-bedroom beach shacks to two-bedroom holiday homes (static caravans) and three-bedroom lodges. In the static caravans you need to bring your own towels, tea towels and oven gloves; the lodges and beach shacks supply them.

On site there is a heated indoor pool, an outdoor splash zone, a pirate-ship play area, a bistro and bar, evening entertainment and an activity programme. The beach is a 20-minute walk, but it is steeply uphill coming back and the beach itself is boulders then sand. Facilities are open to the public too.
