Trewithen Caravan and Camping

Trewithen is a quiet eight-acre farm field outside St Merryn, on the road side of Padstow, with 30 pitches for tents, trailer tents, caravans and campervans. Twelve of them have electric hook-up, so those go first. The ground gives wide open views across farmland and down the valley towards Harlyn Bay, with a glimpse of the sea.

Facilities are simple and sensible: a toilet and shower block, an accessible family wet room with baby changing, a washing-up station, laundry and a wetsuit rinsing area, plus guest wifi. St Merryn village, a mile away, has pubs, a bakery, a shop and a petrol station, and there are seven sandy beaches within three miles. Dogs are charged by the night, and storage can be arranged for a weekly fee.
