Dennis Cove Campsite
Family-run grass campsite ten minutes' walk from Padstow harbour along the Camel Trail, with estuary views from the top field.
See all 5 photos- Dogs welcome
Dennis Cove is the closest campsite to Padstow: a ten-minute, buggy-friendly walk to the harbour using the site's own gate onto the Camel Trail. The Foreshore, a sister site, makes up the rest of about 100 grass pitches over five fields, and roughly a third have electric hook-up. It suits tents and campervans best, with smaller motorhomes and tourers also welcome; many of the van pitches sit on protective mesh. The family has run the place since 1987.
Washing facilities are the old pig sheds, refurbished in 2020/21 into enclosed showers and toilets, with a family shower room, a health-impairment washroom, laundry, drying room and phone charging. There is no guest wifi and no shop, though Padstow's bakeries, a Spar and a Tesco are a short walk away, and a pizza van and coffee wagon call on set days. Barbecues are fine if raised; campfires are not allowed. Access is a single-track lane, so keep to the arrival window. The 2026 season ran from 2 April to 27 September.
