Trentfield is a farm site on the bank of the Trent at Church Laneham, close to the Lincolnshire border. There are two fields: the riverside rally field, which suits tents and smaller units and is not recommended for large motorhomes, and the main field, which is geared to tourers and motorhomes. Pitches are flat grass with optional electric hook-up, and you can book consecutive pitch numbers if you are camping with friends.
The amenity block has showers, two private family washrooms with baby changing, a large washing-up area, laundry, a fridge-freezer, free phone charging and free wifi. The Ferry Boat Inn is a short stroll along the towpath and the Bee's Knees pub is in the village. Lincoln, Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park are all within a short drive. Barbecues are fine if raised off the ground, but campfires and fire pits are banned.
