Pembroke Caravan Park

Small family-run touring park in Leeming Bar, two miles from Bedale, with hook-ups on every pitch and two caravans to hire.

Dogs welcome

Pembroke Caravan Park is run by Paul and Barbara Craggs in the village of Leeming Bar, a short drive from Bedale and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It takes touring caravans and motorhomes, and every pitch has an electric hook-up. There is a toilet and shower block, laundry, washing-up sinks with hot water and a chemical disposal point.

The village has pubs serving food, a cafe and a Co-op within walking distance, and the Wensleydale Railway runs from nearby Bedale towards Leyburn. Lightwater Valley theme park and the market town of Richmond are a drive away. Dogs are welcome on a lead, and the park keeps a tourist information point and a shelf of books and DVDs for guests.

Two modern caravans are also available to hire by the week, or for long weekends when free.
