The park sits behind the old deer park wall of Constable Burton Hall on the A684 between Leyburn and Bedale, a handy stop on the way to the Lakes or Scotland as well as a base for the Dales. It is a level 10 acre field with 40 grass touring pitches alongside around 80 seasonal pitches, and every touring pitch has a 10 amp hook-up included in the price.
The utilities block is a converted stone deer barn with showers, a laundrette, baby changing and accessible toilets, and there is a warden on site, a late arrivals enclosure and a barrier that is locked overnight. There is no shop or play area, but the Wyvill Arms is opposite the entrance and Leyburn is about three miles away. Dogs are welcome on leads. Tents are not mentioned on the site, which describes touring caravans and motorhomes.
