Studfold is a working farm at the top of Nidderdale, near Lofthouse and How Stean Gorge, and the touring field sits beside a shallow beck that children can paddle in. There are 38 flat grass pitches, most around 14m by 10m, and 26 have electric hook-up. Four wooden pods sit at the edge of the field.

The farm also runs a woodland fairy and adventure trail, a covered mini golf course and the Nidderdale Way Cafe, so a lot of a family weekend can happen without the car. There is a small shop at reception, a covered cooking shelter with a barbecue, and EV charging points near the entrance. Mobile signal is patchy and there is no aerial TV; wifi is sold by voucher.

The static caravan park on the same farm is separate and out of bounds to touring guests. In 2026 the season ran from early April to late September.
