Green Oak Nature Retreat is a small woodland site on Inverkeithing Road, just south of Dunfermline, with two self-contained cabins, Dalwhinnie and Macallan. Each sleeps two in one bedroom and has its own bathroom, a full kitchen, radiators and a projector with streaming apps.
The cabins run off-grid: solar panels and a wind turbine for power, a private borehole for water and an LPG boiler for hot showers and heating. Wifi comes from a 4G router. The log stoves are for show only and cannot be lit.
Free parking is on site. Inverkeithing station is about 2.3 miles away for trains to Edinburgh, and bus stops are on Inverkeithing Road.
