Capesthorne Caravan Park

Fifty-pitch tourers-only park in the grounds of Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield, open May to mid-September, with free entry to the gardens.

  • Dogs welcome

Capesthorne Caravan Park sits in the grounds of Capesthorne Hall, a stately home on the edge of the Peak District near Macclesfield. It is licensed for 50 caravans and motorhomes, most with electric hook-up and 30 with hardstanding, mixed between shady and sunny spots. Tents and gazebos are not allowed, and caravans must be unhitched.

Your pitch fee includes electric and free entry to the formal gardens and park from 8am to 7pm, and caravanners get a discount on entry to the Hall itself. There is a shower block with accessible facilities and baby changing, a laundry on tokens and an Elsan point. The Hall hosts weddings and events, so music or fireworks may carry across to the pitches on some weekends. The season runs 1 May to 16 September.
