Braemar Caravan Park is run by the Invercauld Estate on the southern edge of Braemar, just inside the snow gates on the A93 and about a seven-minute walk from the village shop. Most of the pitches are hardstanding with electric, facing south towards the hills. There are 86 standard hardstandings, a handful of smaller ones that only suit campervans without an awning, and six 9m x 9m super pitches with their own water tap and grey waste drain.

Tents go on two grass greens near the facilities, with a 4m x 4m size limit, so big family tents will not fit. Six wooden A-frame fog pods sleep four, with three upgraded to sleep five or six; they are heated and have a fridge, microwave and kettle but no bedding, towels or cooking kit. One pod is set up for wheelchair access. New for winter 2026/27 are two-bedroom lodges called hoosies, with linen, kitchen and electric included.

The park opens eleven months a year and closes only in November. Glenshee ski centre is about 15 minutes up the road, and the estate has a lot of hill and forest ground to walk from the gate. Building work on an extension to the south is going on through 2026, mostly on weekdays.
