Firbank Park

Firbank is a four-acre wooded site on the South Deeside Road, 200m east of Dinnet Bridge, with the River Dee under 50m away and Dinnet Oakwood running behind. The touring area is a Caravan and Motorhome Club CL with six hardstanding pitches (8m x 5m), each with its own electric hook-up and water tap and spaced well apart among Douglas fir, Scots pine and oak. It is adults only, and dogs must be kept on leads because of the red squirrels, pine martens and deer.

Two shepherd's huts with private hot tubs sit in their own areas of about half an acre each, among trees. They have a fitted kitchen, shower, toilet, covered dining deck and gas barbecue; they are for adults only and no pets are allowed. Dinnet has a pizzeria within a 10 minute walk and a bus stop, and Ballater and Aboyne are each about 10 minutes by car.
