Castlewood is a small lodge park at Strachan, about five miles from Banchory on Royal Deeside. Guests rent lodges with their own hot tub on the patio, from a two-person lodge up to a four-bedroom family one, plus a large house that sleeps 20 and has a function room and games room.

Beds are made up on arrival and linen and towels are included, and there is free wifi in each lodge. There are woodland walks on the park where dogs on leads can run, though only some lodges take a pet. There is no camping or touring here; part of the park is also lodges for sale.
