Dovecot Caravan Park

Small family-run site beside the River North Esk, off the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee, with 14 touring pitches, tent pitches and an enclosed dog run.

  • Dogs welcome

Dovecot is a third-generation family site that opened in 1989, tucked into a sheltered hollow beside the River North Esk just off the A90 at North Water Bridge. It is small, with 14 touring pitches plus space for tents, and sits roughly halfway between Aberdeen and Dundee, so it works as an overnight stop or a base for the Angus glens and Royal Deeside.

The shower block has individual rooms, each with its own shower, toilet and basin, plus a family wet room and an adapted accessible wet room. There is a laundry, fast wifi, a reception with table tennis and a pool table, a play park and a new 40kW public EV charger. Dogs are welcome at no charge and there is a fenced 30m by 10m run where they can go off the lead. Work vans and sign-written vehicles are not allowed.
