Greenhillock Camping and Glamping
Car-free eco campsite in Angus wildflower meadows with a fire pit on every pitch, three woodburner pods, composting loos and a pond for dipping.
- Dogs welcome
- Campfires
- Glamping
Greenhillock sits between Forfar and Dundee off the A90 and has thirty tent pitches spread through five acres of wildflower meadow. Every pitch has its own fire pit, the camping fields are car-free so you wheel your kit in from the parking area, and there are no electric hook-ups. Choose from standard and large pitches, a group pitch that takes three family tents, or a quiet grown-ups-only pitch in the North Paddock.
Three glamping pods (Sparrowhawk, Kestrel and Buzzard) sit in the North Paddock with king beds, bunks, a woodburner, a kitchenette and a deck with a fire bowl, and stay open all year. Facilities are eco-minded: composting toilets, solar-heated showers, and a communal field kitchen with fridge, freezer and gas stove. Kids get a wildlife pond with pontoons, a den-building area and an art shack.
