Nethercraig is a family-run park about 1.5km up a quiet road from Alyth, with views over Strathmore to the Sidlaw Hills and the Angus glens behind. It holds a 4-star VisitScotland rating for touring, with large hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up in their own secluded area behind a barrier, and tents are welcome too.
Beyond touring there are glamping pods, shepherd's huts, lodges and holiday homes, several of them dog-friendly. On site you get a shop selling basics and gas, free (rural, slow) wifi, two play areas, a sandpit, a football field, a dog exercise area and 20 acres of woodland walks down towards the River Isla gorge. A barbecue hut can be hired for up to ten people. Three golf courses are within five miles.
