Drumshademuir sits in the Strathmore valley in Angus, roughly halfway between Kirriemuir and Glamis, with Glamis Castle about three miles away. The park has 72 touring pitches, on either hardstanding or grass, and every one has an electric hook-up. Toilet and shower blocks are heated, showers are free, and there are separate washing-up areas, a laundry room and an accessible toilet. A woodland walk runs through the grounds and is used for dog exercise.

Beyond the pitches, you can stay in insulated glamping pods (a standard pod for up to four, a larger family pod for six) or hire one of two modern holiday home models for a minimum of three nights. An independently run bar and restaurant is on site. The site is mainly set up for caravans and motorhomes: the rules say tents are not permitted between units, so check with the park before bringing a tent. Couples and families are welcome, single-sex groups are not.
