Bay View Farmers is a family-run site at Turnpike Cross on the road between Mortehoe and Woolacombe, with views over the North Devon countryside. The pitches are level grass with electric hook-ups and water points, and the Tarka Trail runs straight off the site, with a pub and restaurant within walking distance.

There is a modern shower block with free hot showers, hairdryers and washing-up sinks, a chemical disposal point, free phone charging and free wifi. Dogs get their own wash-down shower and a large walking area, and there is a children's play park.

Be aware that the site's own website currently advertises seasonal caravan pitches with 12-month occupancy, and publishes no nightly touring tariff. Phone to check whether short stays are available before planning a trip.
