North Morte Farm is a family park that has been running since the 1940s, on the edge of Mortehoe on the North Devon coast. Campers choose their own spot in a series of fields that are not levelled or marked out, with sea and countryside views and no electric hook-ups. Touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents use a separate field of 20 gravel pitches with hook-up, most with a TV aerial point.

The South West Coast Path runs straight from the park, and Mortehoe's pubs, shops and takeaways are a short walk away, with Woolacombe's long beach a little further. There is a shop, launderette, dishwashing area, play area and free hot showers. Dogs are welcome in the camping and touring fields but not in the holiday home caravans.

The park also lets standard and luxury static holiday homes, some with sea views and sundecks. The lane in is narrow, and there is no advance booking for tents at the time of the brochure; the website now says booking is advised and taken by phone or email.
