  • Dogs welcome

Damage Barton is a 600-acre beef and sheep farm between Mortehoe and Ilfracombe, farmed by the Lethbridge family since 1962. The touring site covers about sixteen acres, split into a camping and caravan field lower down toward the sea (once the Camping and Caravanning Club site) and a 45-pitch hardstanding field that is a Caravan and Motorhome Club affiliated site. Both are open to members and non-members.

Pitches look out over the sea toward Wales, and footpaths run straight from the gate onto the South West Coast Path. The Tarka Trail cycle path to Ilfracombe is a mile away and Woolacombe beach about two miles. There are two heated shower blocks, family bathrooms, disabled facilities, laundry, a wetsuit wash, a motorhome service point, dog exercise areas next to the site and a ball-games field. Wi-Fi is charged. Pricing is a pitch fee plus a fee per adult, with cheap child rates.
