- Adults only
Bath Chew Valley is an adults-only touring park on Ham Lane in Bishop Sutton, about ten miles south of Bath. The pitches are all hardstanding with electric hook-up, set among lawns, shrubs and flower beds, and some are fully serviced with water, drainage and a TV point. Two small lodges sit at the edge of a little wood.
Facilities are a heated block of solo bathroom suites, a laundry and utility room, a motorhome service point, a fenced dog walk and free freezer space. The Red Lion pub and a village shop are 800 yards away, and Chew Valley Lake is a short walk for birdwatching, fishing and walking.
Staff pitch and level caravans with a tractor, cars park in a separate car park rather than on the pitch, and guests are kept off the grass between October and April. Advance bookings carry minimum stays in busy months.
