Cheddar Bridge is an over-18s park on the A371 Cheddar to Wells road, next to the village football club and a short way from the gorge. Touring caravans and motorhomes sit on level hardstanding with electric at the pitch, and tents have a separate sheltered field with its own small toilet block, dish washing and a shared fridge freezer, kettle and microwave.

Five insulated pods share the tent field, and there are riverside statics, a lodge and four apartments for people who want a bed rather than a pitch. There are no ball games or bikes, so it stays quiet. Up to two dogs are allowed on leads at no extra charge on pitches, with an open field for walking just off site, and charcoal barbecues are fine if raised off the ground.

  • Adults-only (over 18) and free of ball games and bikes
  • Hardstanding pitches with electric at every touring pitch
  • Five camping pods in the tent field
  • Riverside statics and apartments as well
  • Two dogs free on pitches
