Torvean Caravan Park

Small caravan and motorhome park on the Caledonian Canal, a short walk from Inverness centre, with 11 self-catering lodges. No tents.

  • Some dogs

Torvean sits on the bank of the Caledonian Canal on the western edge of Inverness, looking over the King's golf course. There are 51 touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents: 32 standard grass pitches in the middle of the field, nine serviced grass pitches around the edge and eleven serviced hardstandings for motorhomes. Tents are not accepted, though roof boxes are fine.

It is a ten-minute walk into the city and the canal towpath runs past for dog walks. The park also lets eleven timber lodges, some with private hot tubs, and hires out motorhomes, and it is a handy first or last night for the North Coast 500.
