See all 9 photos
  • Dogs welcome

Auchnahillin is a ten-acre family park at Daviot East, about eight miles south-east of Inverness and a few miles off the A9. It is a quiet, informal place on National Cycle Route 7, and a handy stop for the NC500, Loch Ness and the Cairngorms. Touring units get ten hardstanding pitches with hook-up, and tents have their own area of ten pitches with gravel parking and picnic benches, close to the facilities and the water and waste points.

The facilities building has free hot showers and a separate parent and baby room. Campers can also use a kitchen with a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge-freezer, plus laundry and indoor dishwashing sinks. The park also rents out nine static caravans and a chalet, fully equipped with bedding and towels included. Dogs are welcome on leads but not in the play area. It is a holidaymaker-only park: no workers, trades vehicles or long stays.
